OK, so the title here is a bit overwrought, but it’s a riff on Piketty whose work on these concepts helped to motivate this talk. The actual title of the recent talk I gave in Lyon is “Scientific Authority and Political Myth.” It is a dense and ambitious talk, and represents work in progress rather than a polished set of conclusions.

Really interesting deck and twitter summary.
May I suggest the that “social justice” events at places like MSU (Prof. Glick et. al.), Reed College, Evergreen State College, and the like may be at least partially to blame for the decrease in R support for College.
These certainly can be spun into a genetic fallacy narrative, effectively — “insanus in uno insanus in omnibus”.
